Starting to invest in crypto after 30

Hello everyone, I am over 30 and have only recently become seriously interested in crypto, as I used to think it was for young people and risky. But I see how my friends who started earlier already have a good portfolio. Is starting late really a missed opportunity, or is it still possible to catch up and build substantial capital in crypto?

Here is an article that explains well why an early start opens up more opportunities, but also why it's not too late to start later: https://epodcastnetwork.com/why-starting-your-crypto-journey-early-unlocks-more-possibilities/ . I started at 32, initially investing £100-200 per month in BTC and ETH, then added altcoins on the hype. In 4 years, I made a good profit thanks to compounding and reinvesting. An early start gives you more time for growth and less stress from volatility, but even now DCA works great — the main thing is discipline and not chasing quick x10 returns.
